This is one of the "must sees" while in Old town. If you are looking for a nice place to visit and don't want to spend any cash, go here. This is one of the oldest cemetaries in California. I've been here a few times and it's an interesting place to visit. Here is some background on the cemetary: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Campo_Santo_CemeteryI have investigated here once by myself and caught an EVP. The only way I can explain what it sounded like was a "devilish laugh." This cemestary is open 24/7 and people are there at all hours of the day. Also if you look on the sidewalk in front of Campo you'll notice little pegs in the street. Those are marked graves of when they used sonar to see if any other graves were in the area.

But don't part right in front of the cemetery. They paved right over graves, and sometimes the angry spirits will prevent your car from starting! It is a very peaceful place, like most cemeteries.
